Surviving Physical Death - Ten Years On

   The mind is an interesting piece of equipment. Now, only after almost ten years, memories of the accident that had been the cause of Healing Oil Products being developed and The Chronicles of Han Storm written, come forth to be acknowledged and released as finally being part of the past.

   The day of the accident, and the actual incident, I can remember clearly and the story has been told to thousands of people.

   Rehab and the first few years after the accident had been a bit of a blur, with only entries into my diary being painful reminders of the suffering of third degree burn wounds and the fight for survival.

   What do you need to survive death?

   In the early stages, when the body is the only thing to be saved - a stubborn nature, determination, encouragement, reminders of something to live for.

   In my case, my loving husband, my 5 year old and seven week old baby. They still needed me and I struggled through the initial stages of just surviving, just staying here on Earth.

            But healing is not all you worry about while surviving . . .

The Han Storm Files: Overwhelming Volumes

(Location: Duback, Portal City of Stelārşea) We have been flown via Toowin to visit the facility where the Han Storm files are located. Not being my first Portal Travel, I still stand amazed at the speed with which one arrives at another planet in a sister solar system.

   Leaving the mighty city of Stelārşea behind, we were taken by vehicle on a tour of a semi-arid world to a dome-shaped structure nestled securely in a valley out of sight of the Portal City.

   This facility seems to be a private museum to honour Creata's great hero.  

   Led by a very excited Professor McTee, we were shown the areas where Han Storm had been trained in his special gift of Teleportation. When we entered Han's private chambers it seemed as if time stood still and that Han would enter at any moment.

   The room seemed a time capsule, impeccably neat, dust-free and tidy. It seemed possible that our hero had slept here last night and was preparing to get ready for his next adventure.

   A CMC Captain's Uniform was draped over the bed and a pair of boots stood ready to be of service.

   On one of the nightstands stood an old photo of our hero and his beloved Jade beaming smiles at us. So in love. Such a tragic ending to their romance.

   We left the room, feeling saddened by Han's unfortunate adventures in love. It did not seem as if he had ever been lucky in that department.

   The facility had been built mostly underground, a miniature version of its mother city just a few kilometres away.

   We used the central elevator to reach the basement level where the files were kept.

   There was no security on this level and Professor McTee opened double doors to a warehouse of incredible proportions!

   "Eat your hearts out," he stated as we stared at a warehouse full of artefacts!

   Yes, artefacts!

   Floor to roof level boxes filled with paper, documents, official files, copies of private diaries and every other imaginable piece of documentation anyone had ever written on the subject of Han Storm.

   To all my followers, fans and interested parties everywhere in this section of our Universe, this is a paper trail as only an investigative journalist could ever have imagined to pursue.

   Unfortunately, everything is physical and nothing digital, so we are going to have to digitize all the information before releasing it to the public.

   Some of the documents are more than 500 years old and would have to be handled with extreme care. To make matters worse, we have been told that we may not bring in any assistants.

   I do not know if I would be able to sleep tonight.

   My colleagues, Rogge Wints from VidNews Interplanetary as well a Paggan Mist (The Creata Post) are as excited and overwhelmed by the sheer volumes of information as I am.

The Han Storm Files: Declassified 

(Location: Creata, Prosia) After 150 years of our inter-planetary hero disappearing, the files on Han Storm, Creata's most revered and beloved Telepath, has finally been released for reporter review by the Creata Migration Committee.

Prof McTee, head of Communications at the CMC, has chosen only three Newsgroups to cover the release of the files. The New Haven News, The Creata Post and VidNews Interplanetary had been authorised to release said information in the files to the public over the coming weeks.

This agreement came after years of lobbying and activists claiming that they have the right to know more about Han Storm and what he had done for us. The right to a documentary has been secured by the Thornton Foundation.

    We opened our eyes and stretched our neck, followed with our body, the spine clicking into alignment, the tail standing on end, straight back. Our legs we stretched until we were standing on our nails, arching our back like a cat.

    Poking our head out of the cave, we were met with falling snowflakes.

    We did not like the snow and felt irritation at this blizzard that was obscuring our sight.

    After drawing a deep breath, we exhaled, spitting a long streak of fire in a continuous release into the cold air . . .   "

"  "They call you Han, but that is not your real name, is it?" the Dwarf asked.

    I did not answer, finished tying my boots and sat down on the examination bed, allowing my gaze to run over the shelves of books that ran along the one wall.

    The Dwarf crossed his hands and placed them on the book in front of him.

    "Connor said you have strange dreams, speaking in languages they cannot understand."

    I nodded. It was a fact.

    One book drew my attention.

    I stood up and walked over to it.

    Touching the binding brought a tingle from my fingertips right down my arm.

    "You like books?" the dwarf inquired.

    "May I?" I asked, holding my arm steady, allowing the tingle to continue through my body, down to the rock floor.

    "Be my guest. It is an ancient book from the Elfes. No-one understands the language any longer, not even the Elfes."

    I took the book from the shelf, almost dropping it when a whisper ran through my body "*Do not fiddle with what will make things worse.*"

    I ignored the icy Shade, concentrating instead on the book. Sitting down on the hide that was spread on the floor, I traced the emblem on the leather binding. A seven-pointed star was enclosed in an upside down horse-shoe, the bottom arms of the shoe ensnared by a lazy eight lying on its side. Allowing the book to fall open at random, somewhere in the middle, I started reading to myself . . .  "

Death: What is Life?

Excerpt from Chronicles of Han Storm:

"  I gathered her into my arms, cuddling her fragile body close to mine. Her old age sent permeated my nostrils, driving the awareness of the mortality of the body home.

   "I wish for Death" she whispered.

   "Then stop breathing" I replied.

   She hugged me tight, giving three deep breaths before departing . . . 

   What is life but breath blown into a body? You start living with your first breath taken. The body dies after the last breath exhaled.

   But the Soul-Spirit lives on.

   I left my body in the Astral Way, joining my wife where she stood next to our bed, portraying herself as I have always know her, as I have always seen her; a young adult, beautiful and full of life.

   Together we watched the pathetic scene on the bed, our bodies intertwined, the one lifeless, the other devoid of life, yet alive.

   It was time to walk her over to the Land of the Golden Light.

   Soon, I too, would leave this life, not to return here, but to move house to another Dimension. "

Prepare to become addicted!

I have read 100’s of books, covering all spectrums  but never have I been this captivated. The Chronicles of Han is the story of a young peace officer that has psychic powers. He is tasked in regaining lost knowledge of science and inter stellar travel to save a planet abused by over exploitation and in the process expands his gifts.

The book, characters and storyline starts off undemanding and uncomplicated. As the story unfolds, the characters as well as the storyline matures, dragging the reader into the tale, causing you to feel and experience with Han. On occasion I found myself reluctantly having to put down the book so as to put a damper on my emotions, be it sadness or anger. As I progressed with the book I finally figured out why I would become so emotionally involved. It dawned on me that this book reflects a bit of each of us, causing you to identify either with a character or a situation.

As you get more involved with the tale, loads of questions pop up, just to be answered directly or by inference, causing you to think “but I knew that!”.

The down side of the book is that I now find most of my previous books dull and slow-moving.

Can’t wait for the next one.

Introductions

It has been almost three years since starting to Blog on blogs.24.com/chroniclesofhan where most of the Bloggers moved on to a more Global platform. It is only the few diehards that are left. I guess it is time to move along, leaving my comfort zone.

I am a quiet sort of person, usually saying everything I have to say in my books. But sometimes there is a highlight in my life or a special event coming up like my new book launch over November/December 2013. I know fans would like to know about it and this would be ideal in keeping them up to date and informed.
